About Kathleen
Dr. Kathleen Woo-Rippe was born and raised in Minnesota and began her working life in her family’s restaurant, where she learned the importance of hard work, community, and caring for others. Before becoming a physician, she worked in health care administration serving older adults, which inspired her to pursue medicine so she could build meaningful, one-on-one relationships with patients.
Outside of work, she enjoys family movie nights, dinners with friends, reading, traveling, and long walks or hikes with her dog.
Care Philosophy
“My visits with patients are very conversational. I get to know them and their stories as individuals as well as their medical histories. Good communication means active listening and ensuring that what I am saying is understood. My role is to explain health issues and treatment options in order to help you, as the patient, make an informed decision.”
